I'm always amazed that something that weights can fly away and seem lighter than the air. Of course I'm atlking about plane (ok, birds are also in the group). It's just like big boat can float on the ocean, but a bullet will just dive down to the ground !

While powncing a little bit, I just found out a link of the biggest plane on earth... well... actually it was title :  "The biggest airplane of the world (of course european :-P)"

The link will take yo to the google sight seeing site with a satellite picture of the Airbus A380.. Remember it's a double-decker plane, accepting up to 800 passengers in the most economic form. And looking at the other planes around it, it's looking really huge, or massive. However it's not larger than an normal plane (like the Boeing 747-400). The airbus engineers want a plane that could fit in a standard "parking lot".

The Airbus A380 is so huge, the engineers have to find a specizl route using : boats and trucks to transports all the pieces to the airport in Toulouse, France.

When on this site, I could look at other huge plane like the Antonov An-225 Mriyia. This is apparently biggest plane ever in use (the comment is saying the USA have one biggest, but they don't use it). Yes, the little bird on the side are standard planes ;)

Finally, the biggest transport plane (for huge goods and planes) is the famous Airbus Beluga (it's name is obviously coming from the forehaed of the animal. The Beluga is huge enough to transport in its inside, any standard plane cabin (without the wings of course). The airbus A 380 (double deck) is the only one that can't get in.
